We were at a friend's wedding this weekend.  Congrats to Jess and Jeff!  They got married on Daufuskie Island, which is off of Hilton Head, in South Carolina, which was really fun, although not easy to get to.

On the way back, we had a lay over in Charlotte, which was longer than expected, but we ran into Joakim Noah at the airport, trying to get on a flight to Boston.  (As it happened, he was on our plane, too).  Not sure if you tell that it's him in the green shirt and pony tail.  Matt told me to go and ask him about hair products, but I think I'm doing better than he is in that regard!

Come to find out, he worked out for the Celtics today.  I could have had a breaking news story last night!

Being a dork, and other random thoughts

I've made the dumbest joke a lot today.  When people ask how my weekend was, my response has been "Oh, about an hour too short."  It was funny the first time, and increasingly lamer every other time.  But I kept on repeating it anyway.  Further proving that I am a dork.

In other news, Matt picked up Lego Star Wars II last week.  It's pretty cool, although not as fun as this.  (Again making an argument for my being a dork)

I'm not holding my breath that this weather lasts.  Although it was nice to not freeze today when the fire alarm went off and we all had to evacuate the building.

I'm pulling out all the stops for St. Patrick's day.  Corned beef with potatoes and cabbage, Irish soda bread, and Guinness.  After Thanksgiving, it's my favorite holiday for food.  I know it's weird, since everything is boiled.

I'm excited for baseball (I know, what a surprise!)  I think it stinks that Syracuse did not make the NCAA tournament.  I don't have the heart to make up a bracket this year.  Although I might, just to see if I can best Matt (I never do).  We'll see.

Yet another thing I question.

What the?

Does anyone else find this absolutely rediculous?

"I didn't do it, but here's how it went down..."

I discovered something yesterday evening after a particularly difficult and painful day at work...

You should always have brownie mix on hand to ease away troubles.
